This has been the hardest week of my life. I stood by my grandfather with my family for the last few days of his life. Then we held his hands and comforted him as he took his last breaths. I have never witnessed a person passing before and my grandfather is the closest family death that I’ve had. I feel like I am still frozen in those last 5 minutes of his life. Those were the hardest. We buried him Wednesday but he is no longer suffering with lung cancer. I am so thankful that I was allowed that precious time with him in those last few days. He died Sunday, July 8th at 10:57 pm. Saturday the 7th he was awake most of the day. We talked and laughed and he told tales on everyone he knew tales on. He sang his little songs and talked about how handsome he is. My grandfather was a ladies man. He loved flirting with his nurses. He is truly missed by many. I love him so very much. I know that only time can heal our pain but right now I feel sort of numb.

Jerry’s sister and her family came to stay with us last night so they can get electricity in their new place. I enjoyed taking some photos of them. I really like how these turned out🙂
Aren’t they precious🙂
I made a few summer charms and thought someone may like to use them. I think they turned out really cute and will look nice on summer theme layouts. These are all for Personal Use ONLY. There is a PDF file in the zip containing my TOU and Credits. Enjoy🙂 and Happy Scrappin’!

We took the kids to play at Lebanon park yesterday and I got some nice shots of them. I wanted to share🙂
It is so hard to get a good photo of Miranda (my youngest). Sometimes I can sneak and capture great candid shots of her but sometimes I’d love for her to pose for me, lol.
Earlier today I went to my daughter’s school and watched her graduate PreK. She is growing up on me, that’s for sure. She didn’t like the cap on her head. Mrs. Compton put it back on her head a few times before she decided she’d just hang onto it for a little bit. But while Mrs. Compton had her cap…she was buys taking off her shoes. I did manage to get some good shots of her though. I wanted to share a couple of them🙂 Here is my baby girl…
She said she was, “Pinky waving” at me.
